Volunteering at TheMHS events

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at TheMHS Conference 2026 - Sydney. The conference will be held from the 4-7 August at the Hilton Hotel Sydney.

Our volunteer program aims to foster the interests of students of mental health, or mental health-adjacent fields. This is an incredible opportunity for students to complete any course requirements and create valuable connections in the industry. Volunteering involves helping at the registration desk during busy periods, and helping facilitate Q&A times during sessions, which includes monitoring questions in the live app, and managing the room's microphones. In return, volunteers receive free registration to TheMHS Conference 2026. Where possible, we aim to give each volunteer the opportunity to attend sessions of their choosing.

To be eligible to volunteer, you must be a current student and be willing to present your student ID as part of the volunteer application process.

Please fill out the following form if you wish to pursue this volunteering opportunity. Please note, you do not have to be available every conference day to volunteer.

Please note: To apply you must be over 18 years of age. No financial support is given to students. You will need to make your own travel arrangements to TheMHS conference.

Applications close 30 June 2026.
